2. Personal Data
Personal data means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as your name, your email address, your telephone number, your postal address, or the IP address of your PC (hereinafter “data” or “personal data”).
3. Data Processing
3.1. Operation of the Website
Providing this website requires the processing of personal data, such as your IP address. This processing is necessary for accessing the content displayed on this website (including its functions) and for IT security measures.
The processing of your personal data for the provision of this website is based on our overriding legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. To provide this website, it is technically necessary for us to process certain personal data (e.g., the IP address). As part of the required balancing of interests, we have weighed your interest in confidentiality against our interests in providing this website. In each case, your interest in confidentiality is overridden. Otherwise, we would not be able to provide this website to you.
3.2. Login to the Customer Account
If you log in to your customer account on our website, we process your name and your email address for the purpose of enabling you to use the functions of the customer account.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
3.3. Contact Form
If you book a demo via our website and contact us using the online form, we process your name and your email address for the purpose of organizing and conducting the demonstration and/or communicating with you.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the agreement regarding the demonstration and/or responding to your inquiry).
3.4. Cookies
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device (e.g., computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. Certain information can be read from or recognized through these files when you visit our website again. On your next visit to our website using the same end device, the information stored in cookies is then sent back either to our website (“first-party cookie”) or to another website to which the cookie belongs (“third-party cookie”).
Cookies serve various purposes: they enable basic website functions, make settings and preferences available in a user-friendly way, support statistical analyses to improve our offering, and, depending on your selection, also serve to display personalized advertising.
We use cookies only where this is strictly necessary to provide you with our website, or where you have previously given your consent.
Consent and Withdrawal
You can give your consent in the cookie settings and withdraw it at any time with effect for the future without stating reasons.
We use the CCM19 Consent Management Platform as a consent tool to obtain and document your consent for cookies. The provider is Papoo Software & Media GmbH, Auguststr. 4, 53229 Bonn, Germany.
When you visit our website, the following personal data is transmitted to Papoo Software & Media GmbH:
• your consent or your withdrawal;
• IP address of your end device;
• information about the operating system and browser used;
• information about the end device used;
• time of your visit to our website.
The entire infrastructure, including all servers, is hosted in Germany. No data is transferred to an insecure third country (e.g., the USA).
Disabling All Cookies
You can also control or completely prevent the storage of cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling technically necessary cookies may restrict the functionality of our website.
Types of Cookies
Depending on their purpose and function, we divide cookies into the categories Essential Cookies, Functional and Analytics Cookies, and Marketing Cookies:
1.Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are cookies that are strictly necessary for us to reliably provide you with our website. These include, in particular, cookies for basic navigation and page display, session and login management, and your privacy settings (e.g., selection in the cookie settings). Without these cookies, our website does not work or works only with significant restrictions.
The use of essential cookies is possible and permissible without your consent. For this reason, essential cookies cannot be individually deactivated or activated. However, you have the option at any time to generally disable cookies in your browser. This may, however, lead to functional restrictions in connection with the use of our website.
The legal bases for the use of essential cookies are Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (balancing of interests, based on our legitimate and overriding interest in the technically smooth provision of our website) and Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG.
2.Functional and Analytics Cookies
Functional and analytics cookies enable enhanced website functions and personalization as well as the measurement and continuous improvement of the use and performance of our website. These include, in particular, remembering convenient settings and embedded content, providing additional third-party services on our pages, and reach and usage analyses (e.g., page views, dwell times, error messages). These cookies may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have integrated.
The legal basis for the use of functional and analytics cookies is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and/or Section 25(1) TDDDG in conjunction with your consent. You can give your consent in the cookie settings and withdraw it at any time with effect for the future without stating reasons.
3.Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies are used to show you personalized advertising on and outside our website that corresponds as closely as possible to your interests. They also serve to limit how often an advertisement is shown to you and to measure the success and reach of campaigns. These cookies may originate from us or from third parties whose marketing services we have integrated.
The legal basis for the use of marketing cookies is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and/or Section 25(1) TDDDG in conjunction with your consent. You can give your consent in the cookie settings and withdraw it at any time with effect for the future without stating reasons.
4. Website Hosting
At least some of the data we collect is passed on to our processors, WordPress / WPCloud (Automattic Inc., USA) for revvy-ai.com and Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA) for app.revvy-ai.com, for the purpose of website hosting. They process your data only on our instructions and not for their own purposes (Art. 28, 29 GDPR).
WordPress and Vercel also create access statistics based on log file data. However, these analyses are anonymized and do not allow conclusions to be drawn about individual persons. The data is used exclusively to optimize the website offering.
The infrastructure, including the servers, is hosted in the EU, primarily in Germany. For the provision of website hosting, we or our processors may, where necessary, transfer or make personal data accessible to a recipient, in particular processors, in a third country. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 46(2), Art. 46(3), and Art. 47 GDPR are in place and complied with. In addition, this step is taken only subject to positive risk assessments for the data transfer, known as Transfer Impact Assessments. On 10 July 2023, the European Commission adopted its adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. This decision establishes that the United States ensures an adequate level of protection for personal data transferred from the EU to U.S. companies that is comparable to that of the EU. In the case of data transfers to companies in the United States that are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the data transfer is therefore based on Art. 45(1) and Art. 45(3), sentence 1 GDPR.
5. Retention Period
We delete your personal data when the respective purpose of storage no longer applies and no statutory provision requires retention.
6. Your Rights
Right to Object
If your personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (data processing to safeguard legitimate interests), you have the right to object to the processing at any time. You can submit your objection via .
Additional Rights
If the statutory requirements are met, you have the following additional rights with respect to your personal data:
• the right of access,
• the right to rectification or erasure,
• the right to restriction of processing,
• the right to data portability.
Finally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding our processing of your personal data.
7. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data processed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or unauthorized access.
